Kyle Richards has slammed online speculation that she was secretly using the diet drug Ozempic for weight loss.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star continued to show off her amazing physique while attending the American Heart Association’s Go For Women Red Dress event in New York on Wednesday.

Speaking to DailyMail.com about the persistent rumors about her weight loss, the 54-year-old admitted that she found it frustrating to have her hard work turned down as a result of the “cheat drug”.

“When people try to blame my appearance on surgery or Ozempic, which would be completely irresponsible when diabetics can’t get their hands on it, it’s really frustrating for me,” Kyle explained.

‘It bothers me.’ I prefer to inspire people with what I’m doing so they can experience the same things I’ve been doing and see what happens to them.

Semaglutide sold under the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus, is an antidiabetic drug used to treat type 2 diabetes and as an anti-obesity drug for long-term weight management, developed by Novo Nordisk in 2012, according to Wikipedia.

Elaborating on the lifestyle changes she made in order to achieve her toned figure, the Halloween actress continued, “I noticed a huge change when I cut alcohol, sugar, and carbs out of my diet.” I was only going to do it for a few weeks, until I got to where I wanted to be weight fit.

I didn’t put a timetable on it. I was so surprised and thought, “I don’t feel like going back.” I started taking it to the next level by working out 2 hours a day. I really do make a point of eating well and taking care of my body, and I feel like it shows.

Reflecting on fans’ reaction to her physique changes, Kyle added: “There have been trolls, but I got into my DMs and got inundated with people explaining how I was inspired by them. People are really following me through by giving up sugar and carbs, or doing exercise.

The reality star revealed how she was motivated to speak more about the importance of taking care of your body as she shared her respects at the Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection event.

This year’s Jazz Gala was held at Lincoln Center and was dedicated to raising awareness of cardiovascular disease.

She explained: “We need to make people aware that heart disease is the number one cause of death in women. Men are getting much more attention about heart attacks and we need to raise awareness of the importance of eating right and exercising.”

I know I talk a lot about it with my friends because they don’t think about it. It’s very scary what just happened with Lisa Marie Presley, she was young. More women are having heart attacks now than ever before.

The star has been showing off her slimmer frame in new Instagram snaps, with many fans commenting that she must have used Ozempic, a weight loss diabetes drug, to achieve those results.

However, she has strongly denied these allegations. While appearing on The Two T’s In a Pod podcast with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge, last week she revealed her weight loss secrets.

“After gaining weight over the summer — on July 15 — after getting off the boat, I said ‘That’s it, I don’t have any sugar, no carbs, no alcohol,’” Richards explained.

Many people thought I was taking Ozempic. To be clear I have never taken Ozempic.

She added that she also doesn’t take Mounjaro, another diabetes medication, or “any of the injectables” like Wegovy or Saxenda.

On Sunday, the Bravo star showed off the results of all her hard work by posting a photo of herself showing off her ripped stomach.

In the photo, Richards is posing in front of a mirror at a gym wearing skin-tight black leggings and a charcoal-black T-shirt, pulled over just below her chest.

She was also wearing white, yellow, and black running shoes, as she stood with her right foot forward on a piece of balancing aid equipment.

The reality star completed her sporty look, with her dark brown tresses pulled back into a loose ponytail, while hair was loosened around the frame of her face.

The Los Angeles native, who is the last remaining original RHOBH cast member, confirmed that she went on to explain that she only had a breast reduction.
