Sultan Al Qasimi reviews achievements of Sharjah youth

This came during a speech delivered by His Highness on Saturday morning during his visit to the Wasit Youth Center, where he met with Sharjah youth workers and was briefed on the activities offered at the centers and the achievements the important in various fields.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah reported that he and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Rubu ‘Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, follow daily what institutions in Sharjah, including institutions under the aegis of The Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, concerned with taking care of all family members, offers to properly rehabilitate the sons and daughters of Sharjah.

His Highness expressed his joy and pride in the various achievements of Sharjah Youth affiliates in all scientific, technical, cultural, sporting and other fields, praising the efforts made to qualify the youths and emphasizing the need to continue working towards the acquisition of modern and useful knowledge. and skills, making achievements and not despairing of failures at first, but rather learning from them and seeing them as an incentive to keep going.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah stressed the importance of research to develop science and skills of young people and contribute to the discovery of all that is new in science, knowledge and technology, highlighting the many inventions and research scientists registered in Sharjah, calling on young affiliates to visit the laboratories of the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah to learn about the modern and accurate facilities that help to conduct research and discover impressive scientific results.

His Highness drew attention to the opportunities offered by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) to learn about pioneering experiments in research and inventions, and to get acquainted with institutions specializing in scientific fields and the possibility of benefiting from them. in research development.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has advised employees of Rubu ‘Qarn institutions to maintain decent morals and correct behavior in their dealings with their families and society and to strengthen their relationship with their God, in addition to their desire to continue to learn and diligently and benefit from all the facilities, services and opportunities available to them to succeed and empower themselves.

At the beginning of his tour, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah received the honorary membership card of the Hima platform, which offers many advantages and services to its holder among the affiliates of the Youth Centers. His Highness was also briefed on the science and technology laboratory, which includes several projects, including the recycling of plastic cans that promote the preservation of natural resources and the reduction of waste, and science projects such as the warning triangle of automatic emergency, the project intelligent emergency station, the energy recovery system and the hydroponic devices containing a group of leafy plants and hydroponic solutions.

The science and technology laboratory also includes models of robots that have been made by Sharjah Youth employees to perform specific tasks remotely, the corner of Arduino chips and their programming, in addition to the 3D printing device through which the 3D shapes are printed, laser burning and wood engraving.

His Highness was briefed on the programming project (Programmer of the Century), which reviews the projects of a group of programming teams in the youth of Sharjah. His Highness also visited the corner of the terrarium industry, which is the skill of creating and preparing agricultural ponds based on the principle of creating a painting of collecting plants and combining them with stones and sand. His Highness continued his tour by visiting the electronic games corner and the content creation studio, which includes a cinematic film editing laboratory, and a plastic arts workshop which includes concrete art, resin tables, world cup model making, chess and wood drawing art.

His Highness concluded his tour by learning about the achievements of theater and the performing arts, including the experience of the theater troupe participating in the coronation activities of Sharjah, the guest of honor at the Mexico City International Book Fair 2022.
